BMC Twostroke 01 Two

The BMC Twostroke 01 Two is a lightweight, race-bred XC hardtail built to make every pedal stroke count, whether the goal is a fast lap, a demanding marathon, or a long adventure beyond the pavement. Developed from BMC's XC racing heritage, the Twostroke 01 combines a premium carbon frame with modern cross-country geometry to deliver an efficient, responsive ride that remains confident when the terrain gets steep, rough, or fast.

At the heart of the Twostroke 01 is BMC's 01 Premium Carbon frame, developed in the Impec Lab with a focus on low weight, efficient power transfer, and refined ride quality. Its updated geometry brings a longer reach, increased fork trail, and steeper seat tube angle to improve both climbing traction and high-speed stability. The result is a hardtail that feels precise and energetic when accelerating while remaining composed when descending technical trails or carrying speed through rough terrain.

The frame's versatility is one of its defining characteristics. The Twostroke 01 can be configured with a 100mm fork for a traditional XC race setup or pushed to 120mm for additional capability on more demanding terrain, depending on the fork and airshaft configuration. Its progressive geometry is designed around modern XC riding while leaving room for riders to build the bike around their own priorities, from short-course racing and marathon events to multi-day adventures and fast trail rides.

Despite its race-focused character, the carbon frame is designed to provide a surprisingly comfortable ride. Dropped and widened flat seatstays work with the compliant D-shaped seatpost to provide additional vertical compliance, helping smooth vibration and rough terrain without sacrificing the efficient feel expected from a high-performance hardtail. The frame also supports a standard 27.2mm seatpost through a dedicated shim and accommodates internally routed dropper post actuation for riders who want additional descending control.

Up front, the RockShox Judy Silver TurnKey fork provides dependable suspension performance and can support different travel configurations depending on the specific fork setup. Shimano Deore components provide reliable shifting and braking, while the SHL280S wheelset rounds out a practical build designed for consistent performance on the trail.

With compatibility for mechanical and electronic drivetrains, multiple chainring configurations, dual bottle mounting, and an integrated adjustable chain guide, the Twostroke 01 is more than a dedicated XC race machine. It is a versatile carbon hardtail ready for everything from chasing podiums to exploring unfamiliar trails.
