The Cervélo Áspero-5 represents 30 years of aerodynamic expertise applied directly to gravel racing. Built specifically for the front end of the race, this machine is the most aerodynamic gravel bike ever created, delivering a stunning 37 watts advantage over its predecessor and 34 watts over its nearest competitor. Proven on the world's biggest stage, it made its rainbow-jersey debut and won under UCI Gravel World Champion Marianne Vos, the Áspero-5 is now campaigned by some of the most elite bike racers in the world.

Every detail has been engineered for speed. The aero handlebar and stem combination alone accounts for nearly 6 watts of savings, while the completely internal housing and optimized aero tube shapes work together to deliver free speed against the wind. Despite adding significant surface area to improve aerodynamic performance, the Áspero-5 weighs 66 grams less than its predecessor, a remarkable achievement that demonstrates precision carbon engineering at its finest.

Gravel racing demands versatility, and the Áspero-5 delivers through intelligent geometry options. When fitted with equally-sized tires, the handling is stable and confidence-inspiring across the roughest courses. For less-technical terrain, the geometry has been optimized for a 4mm tire width differential—say 40mm front and 44mm rear—to increase aerodynamics further while sharpening handling. The frame accommodates up to 45mm tires, giving you total freedom in tire choice for any surface.

The industry-leading downtube storage door, first seen on Cervélo's P-Series triathlon platform, keeps a tube, tools, and flat kit inside the frame and out of the wind—the lightest and most aerodynamically efficient storage system on the market. A threaded bottom bracket ensures compatibility and ease of maintenance, while the tapered Aspero fork provides responsive handling and tire clearance.

SRAM Force X0 Eagle drivetrain with integrated power meter delivers responsive, wireless shifting and real-time power data, while Reserve 48/53GR wheels with DT Swiss 350 hubs provide reliable performance across demanding terrain.
