Cervélo Áspero-5 Red 2026
Product Details
The Cervélo Áspero-5 Red is engineered for pure gravel speed, built to lead from the front in the most demanding races. Drawing from three decades of aerodynamic expertise, this latest generation delivers a stunning 37-watt advantage over the previous Áspero and 34 watts over its closest competitor. Combined with SRAM's latest wireless drivetrain and an aerodynamic cockpit, it's a race-focused machine with a clean, modern aesthetic.
The revolutionary aerodynamic design showcases Cervélo's industry-leading expertise through meticulously sculpted tube shapes, integrated cable routing, and an aero cockpit that contributes nearly 6 watts of savings alone. Despite adding significant surface area to improve aerodynamic performance, the Áspero-5 achieves a 66-gram weight reduction over its predecessor, proving that speed and lightweight construction can coexist without compromise.
The SRAM Red AXS E1 groupset delivers seamless wireless shifting through an XX SL Eagle T-Type rear derailleur, paired with a 10-52T cassette, providing a massive gear range for every climb, descent, and straightaway. An integrated power meter crankset enables real-time performance monitoring, while Reserve 40|44 TA wheels with Vittoria 42c tires strike the ideal balance between speed and control across varied terrain.
Practical innovation completes the package through integrated downtube storage for essential tools, Smartpak top tube bag integration, and Hammerhead Karoo 3 GPS computer compatibility. The innovative “Mixed & Matched Tire Geo” optimizes handling for various racing scenarios, stable and confidence-inspiring with equally sized tires up to 45mm, or sharpened for less-technical courses with a 4mm tire width differential. Winner of the UCI Gravel World Championship with Marianne Vos, this bike arrives race-ready from the shop floor.
