The foundation is Cervélo's all-carbon frame, engineered for speed without sacrificing the capability required for demanding gravel courses. At just 66 grams lighter than its predecessor despite adding significant surface area for aerodynamic performance, the Áspero-5 proves that speed and efficiency can coexist. The frame accommodates 45mm tires, giving you total freedom to choose traction and comfort appropriate to any course conditions.

Aerodynamic sophistication defines this platform. The aero handlebar and stem combination alone accounts for nearly 6 watts of performance savings. The completely internal cable routing eliminates drag disruption, while refined tube shapes minimize wind resistance at the speeds where gravel racing truly happens. The innovative downtube storage, first seen on Cervélo's P-Series triathlon platform, is the lightest and most aerodynamically efficient system available, securely storing a tube, tools, and flat kit inside the frame and completely out of the wind.

The geometry has been optimized for modern gravel racing demands. Run equally-sized tires (42mm front and rear) for stable, confidence-inspiring handling on rough courses, or leverage the optimized 4mm tire width differential (40mm front, 44mm rear) for sharpened aerodynamics and handling precision on less-technical terrain.
