This is a race bike designed for long-distance, high-speed racing where fit and handling are geared toward comfort without sacrificing the legendary Cervélo race bike feeling that demands performance when it counts.
Every refinement on the new Caledonia-5 addresses what matters to riders pushing their bodies and equipment to the absolute limit. The most significant addition is integrated in-frame storage, designed discreetly for a small multi-tool, spare tube, and CO2 canister. Out of sight, out of mind until you need it most. The dropped seatstays, inspired by Cervélo's gravel platform, make the rear triangle more acute and vertically flexible, absorbing chatter on imperfect tarmac while a bit more downtube stiffness maintains the pro-level responsiveness Caledonia is known for. This balance ensures you stay fresh over the brutal hours of ultra-distance racing.
