Product Details
The ENVE Melee represents a nuanced approach to the modern road race bike, overlaying the customizable aspect of ENVE's Custom Road with a standard size range to provide a balance of personalization and performance. Race-bred and built for speed, this frameset features refined tube shaping and reduced weight, achieving a compromise that enhances both handling and comfort without sacrificing quality, designed for riders whose minds are prepped, bodies ready, and equipment on point.
Built on ENVE's Material Optimized Design (M.O.D.) carbon platform for both frame and fork, the Melee benefits from decades of carbon fiber refinement and expertise. The carbon fibers are meticulously layered and oriented to achieve zone-specific performance requirements, creating the perfect hybrid of stiffness and compliance. Continuous fibers run throughout the frame and fork with tapered laminates and excess material removed to save weight, resulting in a responsive ride that maintains essential comfort for long-distance racing.
Developed in CFD and the wind tunnel, the Melee features refined tube shapes tuned to complement ENVE's SES rim shapes, delivering Real-World Fast aerodynamic performance balanced for aero efficiency and weight savings.
Perfect for competitive riders seeking optimized fit and tuned geometry, the Melee is offered in seven frame sizes with five fork rakes, ensuring responsive, confidence-inspiring handling regardless of rider size. The threaded T47 inboard-bearing bottom bracket delivers smooth, silent, creak-free operation. Geometry and handling characteristics are optimized for 27-32mm tires with clearance up to 35mm, while drivetrain compatibility spans most brands and configurations including mechanical, electronic wired, electronic wireless, 1x, and 2x setups.
The Melee frameset provides a blank canvas for building a dream bike.
