The ENVE Melee V2 with SRAM Force represents a WorldTour-level race bike engineered to eliminate the traditional compromise between lightweight climbing performance and aerodynamic efficiency. This is not a bike that chooses between going fast and going light, it does both simultaneously. Built around one objective, going faster in the real world, the Melee V2 Contender Custom delivers responsive handling, efficient power transfer, and measurable aerodynamic gains that translate directly to race-day advantage.

Weight savings permeate every aspect of the design. Frame surface area has been reduced by 7.5 percent through extensive refinement, while a new headset with smaller bearings, BSA bottom bracket, and updated two-bolt seatpost contribute to overall efficiency. The complete frameset at 1,442 grams. 

Aerodynamic development received equal attention. Engineered using ENVE's Real-World Fast protocol at the Mercedes-Petronas Wind Tunnel with renowned aerodynamicist Simon Smart, the Melee V2 was tested with an actual rider aboard, incorporating bottles, cages, and complete wheel systems to evaluate the genuine bike-rider package. Refined tube shapes work with rider body position and leg movement to manage airflow across the entire platform, delivering a claimed 17-watt aerodynamic improvement.

The complete Contender Custom build combines the ultralight Melee V2 frame with SRAM Force E1 drivetrain featuring and integrated powermeter and Hammerhead Karoo head unit for precise race data. ENVE SES 4.5 carbon wheels, the new ENVE SES Aero PRO V2 cockpit, and ENVE x Selle Italia SLR Boost 3D saddle create a cohesive, purpose-built system.
