The Mondraker Arid Carbon R brings a responsive carbon chassis and a capable component package to gravel riding that rarely follows a single script. Quick hardpack sections, loose corners and long stretches away from pavement all have a place in its design. SRAM GX Eagle AXS T-Type shifting and Mavic carbon wheels give this build a clear performance focus, while integrated storage keeps everyday practicality in view.
Mondraker's Stealth Air Carbon construction gives different parts of the frame different jobs. The head tube and bottom bracket areas emphasize stiffness for a direct response to pedaling and steering, while the rear triangle allows vertical compliance over uneven ground. Forward Geometry shapes the fit and handling. A T47 bottom bracket, UDH interface and 12x142mm rear axle provide the structural details, with HHG internal routing and a dedicated 1x layout keeping the design clean.
A rigid Stealth Air Carbon fork complements the frame, with a tapered steerer, HHG routing and an integrated flat-mount brake interface. Clearance for tires up to 50mm wide gives riders room to favor faster rolling or greater rough-surface comfort. The rigid layout keeps the connection to the ground direct, with the carbon construction and tire setup shaping the ride feel.
SRAM GX Eagle AXS T-Type provides 12-speed shifting, matched with Mavic Allroad S Carbon UST wheels. Their rims measure 42mm deep and 25mm internally, with 24 spokes. The Infinity rear hub uses an ID360 ratchet system, Centerlock rotor mounting and an XDR freehub. This combination gives the Arid Carbon R a carbon wheel package and 12-speed shifting for covering varied gravel terrain.
The Carry-On downtube compartment adds a practical advantage on longer outings. Its watertight, dustproof cover protects three removable, hook-and-loop-secured pouches for tools and other small essentials. Bottle and accessory mounts extend beyond the main triangle to the underside of the downtube, fork legs and top tube. Five sizes, S, M, M/L, L and XL, give riders an intermediate fit option and room to configure the bike for the way they ride.
