The Mondraker Arid Carbon RS pairs a versatile carbon gravel chassis with Shimano GRX Di2 shifting and Fulcrum carbon wheels. It is designed for riders who appreciate a responsive bike on faster sections but also want comfort and control when smooth tracks give way to rougher ground. Wide tire clearance and built-in storage help the bike adapt to distance as readily as changing surfaces.
The frame's Stealth Air Carbon layup is tailored for a firm pedaling platform without an unnecessarily harsh ride. Stiffness around the head tube and bottom bracket works alongside a more compliant rear triangle, helping the bike maintain its rhythm on broken surfaces. Forward Geometry guides the handling, while a T47 bottom bracket, UDH interface and 12x142mm rear axle define the build standards. HHG internal routing keeps cables neatly integrated into the frame.
A rigid Stealth Air Carbon fork complements the frame, with a tapered steerer, HHG routing and an integrated flat-mount brake interface. Clearance for tires up to 50mm wide gives riders room to favor faster rolling or greater rough-surface comfort. The rigid layout keeps the connection to the ground direct, with the carbon construction and tire setup shaping the ride feel.
Shimano GRX RX827 Di2 supplies 12-speed shifting. Fulcrum Sharq GR wheels use hooked carbon 2-Wave rims with a varying 47-52mm height and a 30mm internal width. The Fulcrum rear hub has steel cup-and-cone bearings, Centerlock rotor mounting and an MS freehub. This Shimano-equipped build brings a different drivetrain and wheel choice to the same versatile Arid carbon platform.
Longer days benefit from the Carry-On storage system, which places three organized pouches inside the downtube behind a watertight, dustproof cover. Tools and small essentials can stay with the bike instead of filling pockets. Mounts on the frame and fork support flexible bottle and accessory arrangements, including positions beneath the downtube and on the top tube. The five-size range includes S, M, M/L, L and XL, with an intermediate option for riders between medium and large.
