The goal of the design is as Orbea put it, "Steep n Deep" terrain without question, and they certainly achieved it. With clearance for up to 2.6" wide tires, this Laufey grips on any surface giving you the confidence you need. Internal routing allows the bike to focus on a clean, durable set-up for a worry-free ride. 

As the bike is focused around durability, the drivetrain chosen is the ultra-strong Shimano Deore. This mechanical 12-speed drivetrain is built with the idea that it will get abused, so it is as strong as possible without a massive weight penalty. In keeping with a Shimano theme, Orbea chose to use their MT201 brakes which are consistent in all conditions, further making this a bike you can trust for any adventure. The in-house Orbea wheels provide a wide 29mm internal width for the optimal Maxxis Dissector 2.6" performance, which combine durability and capability.
