Orbea Orca Aero M11E LTD PWR
Product Details
The Orbea Orca Aero M11E LTD PWR represents the fastest and most efficient bike-rider system Orbea has engineered. Built around a fundamental principle that transcends isolated performance metrics—the Total System Approach—this machine treats the bicycle and rider as a single, integrated unit optimized for maximum speed across all real-world conditions. Every structural decision, every aerodynamic refinement, and every component choice has been engineered to work together, transferring every watt of pure power in the most effective way possible.
The OMX carbon monocoque frame has been refined through meticulous wind tunnel prototypes, computational fluid dynamics analysis, velodrome testing, and extensive road validation with the Lotto-Intermarché team. Every frame section was optimized millimeter by millimeter. The narrow, sharp head tube reduces frontal area without complex solutions. The fork integrates seamlessly with the downtube regardless of tire width or wind angle. The optimized downtube profile manages airflow efficiently, working in conjunction with aerodynamic bottle cages. The slimmer seat tube reduces drag while maintaining structural efficiency. Thinner seatstays with a lower attachment point optimize the stiffness-to-weight ratio while providing vertical compliance. A keel structure in the bottom bracket area manages airflow through this critical transition. Wind tunnel testing confirms these refinements save 5.1 watts at 50 kph across all wind yaw angles—not just head-on conditions.
The Total System Approach extends beyond the frame. Orbea adopted a 78mm bottom bracket drop—the lowest on the market—positioning the rider lower for improved stability and reduced frontal area exposure. Extensive cockpit customization with 13 handlebar sizes, up to 40mm of spacers, two seatpost offset options, and a reversible seatpost clamp allow riders to find their ideal aerodynamic position. The OC RA10 integrated carbon handlebar features fully internal cable routing, while the OC RA11 aerodynamic seatpost minimizes the gap between rider and frame. This rider-focused optimization delivers approximately 14 watts of additional savings at 50 kph on flat terrain.
The frame delivers 93 Nm/degree stiffness while remaining ready for future standards, accommodating tires up to 37mm for modern racing demands. Internal cable routing maintains clean aerodynamics, while Di2 integration and UDH derailleur hanger compatibility ensure modern drivetrain versatility.
SRAM Red AXS 12-speed electronic drivetrain delivers instantaneous, precise shifting at race pace, while Oquo Road Aero RA57LTD CS wheels provide the aerodynamic efficiency and power transfer required for high-speed efforts.
