Orbea Terra H40
Product Details
The Orbea Terra H40 is an invitation to ride outside the lines. Built for adventurous cyclists who refuse to be confined by a single terrain or purpose, this gravel bike blends all-day comfort with the capability to chase performance when the moment demands it. Whether you're roaming off the map for your next long-distance adventure or exploring gravel routes far off the beaten path, the Terra delivers the versatility and durability to take you wherever the ride leads.
The Hydro aluminum frame represents Orbea's commitment to delivering premium performance at practical value. While engineered from aluminum rather than carbon, this frame maintains the same gravel-focused geometry and vibration-damping principles that define the Terra platform. Dialed gravel geometry combines a long reach and higher stack for precise steering with a longer wheelbase that increases stability and comfort across varied terrain. Size-specific fork trail ensures balanced handling across every frame size, while a shorter seat tube with a relaxed angle allows the seatpost to flex naturally, reducing rider fatigue on extended efforts.
Vibration damping is engineered into every detail. Strategic cutouts in the fork and chainstays, combined with a slim top tube, work together to absorb vibrations from rough terrain without dulling responsiveness. The OMR carbon fork features long legs and sculpted cutouts for added bump compliance, accommodating 50C tires comfortably with an extra 5mm of clearance on each side.
Multiple mounting points keep your gear secure on long race days and bikepacking adventures alike. Generous tire clearance for up to 50C tires gives you total freedom in tire choice for any surface. The standard 27.2mm external seatpost clamp is dropper-compatible, adding stability and confidence on technical descents. Universal Derailleur Hanger compatibility ensures flexibility when components need adjustment mid-adventure.
Shimano Cues U6040 Shadow drivetrain delivers reliable shifting across varied terrain, while alloy tubeless-ready 700c wheels provide durable, capable performance for gravel exploration. This is a bike built for performance and stability on any surface.
