Product Details
The Pinarello Grevil F5 is a gravel race bike built around the demands of long-distance competition, changing terrain, and sustained solo efforts. The Grevil F platform brings aerodynamic design together with features intended to improve comfort and traction on rough surfaces. Its focus is on riders who want to keep moving efficiently as a race unfolds, with a design that considers both the effort of covering distance and the challenge of maintaining control when conditions become less predictable.
This build uses a TorayCa T700 UD frame, while the broader Grevil F design places particular emphasis on how the bike moves through the air. Pinarello calls this approach Solo Dynamics, reflecting the importance of aerodynamic efficiency during long stretches without the shelter of a group. The down tube is shaped with 750 ml bottles in mind, addressing airflow around an item riders regularly carry. Aerodynamics are treated as part of the bike as it is ridden, rather than as an isolated frame characteristic.
Comfort is addressed through the relationship between the rear of the frame and the adaptive seatpost. The D-Shape Adaptive Seatpost provides a stated 10 mm of longitudinal flex to help absorb vibration. It works alongside the Twin Arms seatstays, which are designed to support traction over rough terrain. Together, these features give the Grevil F a considered approach to the repeated impacts of a long gravel course, with compliance serving the practical demands of extended riding.
At the front, the Onda fork combines a sleek profile with carefully shaped curvature. Its design uses compliance to enhance ride quality, while reduced weight compared with the previous Grevil F fork contributes to improved handling. The result is a platform whose aerodynamic shaping, rear-end vibration absorption, and fork design all serve the same purpose: helping a rider tackle long distances across varied surfaces. The Grevil F keeps its attention on the riding experience as a whole, balancing the priorities of solo racing with the realities of rough-ground competition.
