The lightweight carbon fibre outer shell is moulded directly to a multi-density EPS liner, combining exceptional strength with low weight for all-day wearing comfort. The EPS liner features densities optimised specifically for the highest-impact scenarios encountered in downhill and freeride riding, absorbing and distributing impact energy precisely where it's needed most. Despite this elevated level of protection, the Barocon Carbon remains impressively lightweight for a full-face helmet.

MIPS Evolve technology enhances rotational impact protection, addressing the angled impact forces most commonly encountered in real-world crashes. The multi-directional breakaway peak is engineered to snap cleanly away from the helmet on frontal or side impacts, reducing the forces transmitted to the head during accidents. Conveniently, this peak is also shaped to accommodate an action camera mount, making it effortless to document rides without additional hardware.

Ventilation channels throughout the helmet ensure consistent airflow across the head during high-speed descents, while ear chambers provide improved balance, hearing, and comfort during extended riding sessions. Removable cheek pads make post-accident helmet removal safer and easier, and fit can be fine-tuned using the supplied additional padding. A secure D-ring strap fastener keeps the helmet firmly in place through the most aggressive terrain.
