The SCOTT Addict RC 25 is a lightweight road race bike for riders who want a responsive platform for steep climbs, fast group rides and demanding race days. The Addict RC combines HMX carbon construction with an aggressive riding position, bringing climbing efficiency and confident handling into the same design. Its focus is on keeping the bike responsive when the pace changes, whether that means accelerating out of a corner or settling into a sustained effort on a long ascent.

SCOTT's approach to the frame begins inside the carbon structure. Its PP Mandrel manufacturing process enables precise molding of internal surfaces and transition zones, reducing the need for additional reinforcement and filler material. Carefully shaped tubes and a controlled carbon layup support stiffness where the rider loads the frame while limiting unnecessary material. The result is a platform designed around the connection between low weight and effective power transfer, rather than weight savings in isolation.

Aerodynamic tube shaping and internal cable routing complement that lightweight approach. The clean front end and shaped frame profiles help manage airflow, while the race geometry places the rider in a purposeful, forward position. Its geometry was also developed to accommodate wider tires and maintain consistent handling across the size range.

Revised molding and seatpost-clamp construction allow thinner seat tube walls in this area of the frame, introducing flexibility without abandoning the platform's racing focus. Clearance for tires up to 34mm provides room to tailor the setup to rougher roads, while the supplied build uses 30mm tires.
