Product Details
The SCOTT Spark DC Factory takes everything that makes cross-country mountain bikes exceptional and applies it to a platform built for bigger, more demanding terrain. This is short-travel done right, engineered with greater suspension travel for harder-hitting trails while maintaining the race-inspired responsiveness that defines the Spark legacy. It's a purpose-built machine for riders who want to flow, climb, jump, and descend with equal confidence on deep mountain missions.
Every detail prioritizes control and efficiency. The lightweight HMX carbon frame creates a low center of mass that keeps the bike planted and stable through chaotic terrain, ensuring a grounded pedaling platform with no wasted energy. The responsive feel comes from obsessive attention to weight savings—SCOTT engineered this frame to make every gram count, delivering the precision handling expected from a bike wearing the Spark name.
The suspension design draws directly from World Cup-level racing across both XC and Downhill disciplines. The result is a carefully tuned 140mm front and 135mm rear short-travel setup that refuses to be limited by category. RockShox Pike Ultimate Flight Attendant fork and SIDLuxe XL Ultimate Flight Attendant shock feature electronically controlled suspension that adapts in real time to the terrain ahead. This means you can open it up and ride without limits—the ideal suspension setting is always automatically dialed in, whether you're picking through technical rock gardens or attacking fast, flowy sections.
The complete drivetrain package reflects genuine race-level performance. SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS Transmission with integrated power meter delivers smooth, responsive shifting while providing real-time power data to refine your technique. DT Swiss XRC 1200 Spline wheels offer lightweight strength that matches the rest of the platform.
Beyond raw performance, the Spark DC Factory supports versatile adventures. Generous mounting points accommodate full bikepacking setups for multi-day escapes, while integrated frame storage keeps essential gear close. Maintenance remains straightforward by design—suspension adjustments and component swaps are intuitive, so you spend less time in the workshop and more time on the trail.
