The SCOTT Spark RC Expert is a lightweight XC race machine engineered for riders who demand precision, speed, and reliability on demanding cross-country terrain. Built in close collaboration with SCOTT's professional racing team, this bike strikes the ideal balance between elite performance and real-world practicality, delivering championship-level capability without the elite-tier price tag.
At the core of the Spark RC Expert is SCOTT's HMF Carbon frame, one of the lightest 120mm XC platforms available. The sub-1.5kg frameset achieves this remarkable weight through intelligent engineering and refined layup rather than fragility, meticulously balancing stiffness, compliance, and durability for long-term reliability. The modern race-inspired geometry includes head angle adjustability of plus or minus 0.5 degrees, allowing you to fine-tune the bike to your terrain and riding style. A thoughtfully designed low center-of-mass positions the shock optimally within the chassis, creating improved stability, precise cornering control, and confident technical climbing.
The suspension setup is exceptionally well-executed. SCOTT's proprietary flex pivot kinematic minimizes deflection while delivering excellent traction under power, stability under braking, and climbing efficiency. The Fox 120mm 34SL Factory Grip SL fork and Fox Float Factory shock are custom-tuned specifically for the Spark RC platform, ensuring predictable, responsive performance straight out of the box. The frame accommodates dropper posts up to 150mm on medium frames and 200mm on larger sizes, giving you the modern trail bike versatility XC racing increasingly demands.
Every component is chosen for speed and durability. Shimano XT Di2 delivers smooth, race-ready wireless shifts under pressure. SCOTT's OCT cable-routing technology uses color-coded ducts for intuitive, error-free setup and quick serviceability.
