Van Rysel RCR-F Pro Dura Ace DI2
Product Details
The Van Rysel RCR-F Pro Dura Ace Di2 is a purebred aero road machine engineered for riders who demand uncompromising speed, stiffness, and efficiency on fast rolling and hilly terrain. Developed as the fastest bike in the Van Rysel lineup, the RCR-F platform combines advanced aerodynamics with race-ready responsiveness, making it the ideal choice for high-speed efforts, aggressive racing, and riders chasing every watt of performance.
Designed in partnership with aerodynamic specialists at Swiss Side, the RCR-F frame and fork were refined through CFD simulations, extensive wind tunnel testing, and real-world validation by the professional riders of the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team. The result is a bike purpose-built to maximize aerodynamic efficiency, delivering measurable gains where it matters most. Compared to the standard RCR platform, the RCR-F saves 13 watts at 28 mph (45 km/h), giving riders a distinct advantage when speeds are high and the pace is relentless.
At the heart of the bike is a Van Rysel Super High Modulus carbon frame and fork, constructed using an advanced layup of 517 precisely placed carbon plies to maximize stiffness without unnecessary weight. The "Pro" carbon layup increases front-end rigidity by 7% over the RCR Pro, creating explosive power transfer during sprints, attacks, and hard accelerations while maintaining exceptional composure at speed. Weighing just 7.5 kg in a size medium with a tubeless setup, the RCR-F strikes an impressive balance between lightweight efficiency and aerodynamic dominance.
Up front, the Deda x Van Rysel integrated cockpit is optimized for aerodynamic performance, precision handling, and rider control. Ergonomic drop inserts improve grip and confidence during hard efforts, while the integrated GPS mount keeps devices cleanly positioned and compatible with Garmin, Wahoo, and Bryton systems.
Shifting duties are handled by Shimano Dura Ace Di2 12-speed electronic components, delivering lightning-fast gear changes with exceptional precision. Paired with hydraulic disc brakes for confident stopping power in all conditions, the drivetrain is built for elite-level performance. An included dual-sided power meter adds detailed ride metrics for training and race analysis.
Rolling on Swiss Side Hadron² 625 Classic wheels, the RCR-F Pro balances aerodynamic efficiency with stability across rolling terrain. Featuring deep 62mm rims paired with high-performance Continental tires, the setup is optimized for speed while remaining versatile enough for demanding race conditions. Riders can further enhance comfort, puncture resistance, and rolling efficiency by switching to the included tubeless setup.
