Van Rysel RCR Pro Frame Kit
Product Details
The Van Rysel RCR Pro Frame Kit is the foundation of one of the fastest road racing platforms in the world, developed for riders who demand uncompromising speed, efficiency, and responsiveness. Trusted by the Decathlon AG2R WorldTour team at the highest level of competition, the RCR Pro combines advanced aerodynamics, featherweight construction, and race-tuned stiffness into a frameset built to perform when every second matters.
Engineered using Super High Modulus carbon fiber, the RCR Pro Frame Kit is designed to maximize power transfer, delivering an incredibly direct and explosive ride feel with every pedal stroke. By sourcing premium carbon fibers and strategically reinforcing high-stress areas, Van Rysel created a chassis that channels rider input with remarkable efficiency while minimizing unnecessary weight. The result is a frameset that feels fast under acceleration, precise through corners, and relentlessly efficient over long race days.
Aerodynamic performance sits at the heart of the RCR Pro’s design. Developed in partnership with ONERA using advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) modeling and validated through wind tunnel testing, every tube profile and junction has been refined to reduce drag and maintain speed with less effort. Designed to perform efficiently across key wind angles from -15° to +15°, the RCR Pro strikes an exceptional balance between aerodynamic gains and real-world ride quality.
Weight reduction was equally prioritized throughout development. Through extensive topological analysis, Van Rysel strategically removed material across the frame and components to create an impressively lightweight platform. Weighing just 790g for a painted size medium frame, paired with a 380g fork, the RCR Pro ranks among the lightest aero race frames available. For riders chasing every possible advantage, the raw carbon finish reduces weight even further while maintaining the same elite-level performance.
Sharing the same aggressive race geometry as the standard RCR, the Pro version elevates performance through its premium carbon construction, delivering a lighter, stiffer, and more race-focused feel suited to elite-level riding and competition. Tire clearance for up to 33mm also adds versatility for rough roads and modern race setups.
The RCR Pro Frame Kit arrives ready to build with a comprehensive collection of premium components, including the RCR carbon fork and seatpost, Deda Superbox cockpit hardware, computer mount, thru-axles, derailleur hangers for Shimano and SRAM systems, internal routing accessories, and all required mounting hardware.
