An EC90 carbon sole, made by Easton, makes the Empire ACC stiff and lightweight with an incredible ability to transfer power to the pedals. The upper is a breathable Evofiber microfiber designed to wrap around the foot and is perforated for further ventilation. Giro dips back in time to equip the Empire with shoelaces, proving that they are still the lightest way to secure shoes to feet. On the inside, you’ll find a Giro Supernatural footbed with adjustable arch support and comfortable padding.
