Nino Schurter and the SCOTT Spark RC go hand in hand. As the athlete has ascended to the likes of being a legend in the XC mountain bike world, SCOTT have matched his efforts with a Spark race bike that has only improved over the years. Perhaps the pinnacle of their collaboration is the Spark RC 900 World Cup, with Nino-specific Fraser iC handlebar and unique colors. The 2020 SCOTT Spark RC 900 World Cup Nino Edition – Silverfish is the most exclusive release yet, with a one-off paint job ridden by the greats.
The 2020 Spark RC World Cup Nino Edition – Silverfish uses the same championship-winning HMX carbon frame and swingarm as the HMX-grade Spark RC, except this is set up to more closely resemble Nino’s championship machine, down to the sponsorship stickers. The Nino Edition Silverfish, also known as the World Cup N1NO HMX frame and fork or Spark Silverfish, receives custom silver paint on the frame, swingarm, Fraser iC handlebar, and Duncan 1.0 seatpost. It doesn’t just stop there, however: there are color-matched SRAM XX1 Eagle cranks, and custom-colored SRAM Level Ultimate brakes that really set this bike apart. Total frame weight in size medium is 1849 grams with shock and hardware.
Each Silverfish features an HMX carbon frame and swingarm with custom paint. This is paired to a RockShox SID Ultimate RLC3 Air fork with a custom Charger three-mode damper with low-speed adjustment. This is paired to a RockShox NUDE RLC3 rear shock that is unique to the World Cup. There is also a SRAM XX1 custom-painted crankset, custom-painted SRAM Level Ultimate brakes that is unique to the bike. A custom Syncros Fraser iC handlebar, Duncan 1.0 carbon seatpost, and TwinLoc remote shifter kit complete the package. Spark RC 900 is available in four sizes (SM-XL).
